Introduction

Etikette Candles is an Australian fragrance company that sells a range of wax candles and scented diffusers via its online store.

The main aim, creating a well-known brand beyond Instagram and attracting customers interested in high-end wear, was a challenge that seemed daunting at first. Our expertise in brand positioning and digital marketing ensured the challenge was executed efficiently.

Challenge

Etikette Candles has been around for over 7 years and in that time, they have built up a sizable database of customers and email subscribers. The only issue was this database was not being fully utilised as the company had no real strategy on converting their database into highly engaged customers. Their website has also had quite a lot of visitors but only a small fraction of these visitors turned into paying customers.

Solution

Upon review of the customer flow, it was apparent that users were adding items to cart but the percentage of users going to the cart and actually paying was very low. It was this rationale that made us completely revamp the entire checkout process.

In addition to that, we run a re-marketing campaign to remind users that there were still items in their cart that are still not yet purchased. This campaign was run in conjunction with an email abandoned cart sequence that gave users an irresistible offer that greatly improved the amount of sales.
